Join the ACO, ADDA & CHADD Leadership and the Conference Committee as we gather to welcome all the first-time attendees to kick off #ADHD2024.
Join the ADHD2024 Planning Committee as we welcome everyone into the Discovery Hall to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks, engage with exhibitors, peruse the books in the Bookstore, meet the poster session presenters, and more!
Yoga: Gift yourself the time to recharge your body and mind during the conference. This beginner-friendly yoga session will combine gentle movement with attention to breath and mindfulness, all within a judgment-free space.
Guided Meditation: Mindfulness exercises designed for the ADHD brain. In the morning we will begin with brief mindfulness practices that can help you feel less scattered, more grounded, and ready for the conference day. You will sample mindfulness skills that you can use in daily life to deal with stress or to increase self-awareness.
Run: Kick off your conference with a 3-mile fun run through the neighborhood! Join us for a social and energizing run, open to all abilities and paces. This is a fantastic opportunity to:
(1) Boost your mood and focus: Get your blood pumping and release those feel-good/executive functioning-boosting endorphins.
(2) Connect with fellow attendees: Share experiences and build new friendships within the ADHD community.
(3) Explore the local area: Enjoy a scenic route around Anaheim.
Nothing helps us Connect.Learn.Thrive. like sharing our gifts and talents with each other—and there is no better place to do that than the 2024 ADHD Conference Talent Show.
The Talent Show is our long-running Friday night tradition, a perfect time to relax a little and refresh yourself before Saturday’s sessions. It’s a great place to meet folks and make even more connections, maybe over a favorite song, poem, or performance.
The Talent Show is a showcase for the unusual, entertaining, and amazing talents of attendees and speakers in a fun, therapeutic, bare-your-soul way. Some of your favorites will be returning, and some never-before-seen talents will take the stage.
