Question:
How do I book my hotel room?
Answer:
As soon as your event registration is confirmed, you will receive via email your confirmation details that also contain a link to the hotel booking site. We have negotiated a preferential single/double occupancy rate of $199 per night (plus taxes and fees). These rates will be available until October 30, 2023, or until the conference block fills, whichever comes sooner.

Question:
What is the difference between Professional Day and ADHD Conference Sessions?
Answer:
Formerly known as API sessions, professional presentations offer more in-depth information on a variety of topics related to ADHD and are designed for coaches, professional organizers, therapists,  mental health clinicians, prescribers, educators, school professionals, and occupational and speech therapists.

General Conference sessions offer information on a variety of topics related to ADHD and are designed for the full conference audience of parents, caregivers, adults with ADHD, coaches, professional organizers, therapists, mental health clinicians, prescribers, educators, school professionals, and occupational and speech therapists.

Question:
What meals are included with my full General Conference registration?
Answer:
The 2023 conference registration includes a Welcome Reception with light appetizers on Thursday. Continental breakfast on Friday and Saturday morning as well as coffee during break times are available in the Discovery Hall where all General Conference breaks are held. Grab and go lunches will be available for purchase.

Question:
Can you accommodate special dietary requirements?
Answer:
Yes. Please be sure to let us know if you have any special dietary requirements by filling out the field during your registration. If you have further questions regarding special dietary requirements, please email conferences@chadd.org.

Question:
Will I be able to receive continuing education credits for attending the conference?
Answer:
We are providing continuing education credits for the following during the conference, please visit the Continuing Education Credits page for more information:

  • Continuing Medical Education Credits (CMEs) for medical professionals, physicians;
  • Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for nurses;
  • Continuing Education Credits (CEs) for psychologists and other mental health professionals;
  • Continuing Education Credits (CCEs) for coaches.

Question:
Will there be volunteer opportunities?
Answer:
Yes! Limited on-site volunteer opportunities are available during the conference. Benefits will be provided for volunteers who work in the capacity of staffing the conference bookstore, floor hosts, and other on-site responsibilities. If you are available and want to volunteer, please complete the Agreement Form.

Will there be WiFi available?
Answer:
There will be free WiFi available throughout the meeting rooms during the conference period.

How do I download the mobile app?

Payment & Registration Information

Question:
Can I pay via invoice?
Answer:
Absolutely! You will need to contact the Conference Department team at conferences@chadd.org to do this and payment is required prior to your attendance at the conference.

Question:
What is the substitution policy?
Answer:
You may transfer your paid registration (minus a $50.00 administrative fee) to another individual by email, stating the name of the original registrant and the name of the substitute (including address and phone number). All transfers must be requested in writing by Tuesday, November 28, 2023.

Question:
What is the conference attendance change policy?
Answer:
If you wish to switch your attendeetype between In-Person and Online, you may do so by sending the request to conferences@chadd.org; you will be charged a $50 administrative fee. If the request is received on or before October 30, 2023, the difference in registration price will be billed / refunded to you. After October 30, 2023, switching from In-Person access to Online access, will receive no refund for the difference. Switching from Online access to In-Person access after October 30, 2023, will be charged the difference in the Online rate you paid and the In-Person access rate that you would have paid at that time.

What is the refund policy?
Answer:
You may cancel your registration for the conference at any time. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to conferences@chadd.org in order to qualify for a refund. There will be no refunds after October 30, 2023, or for NO SHOWS. Refunds will be processed after the conference. Cancellations postmarked on or before October 30, 2023, will receive a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee.


General Session Information

Question:
Do I have to select my sessions in advance?
Answer:
Attendees will not be able to select their sessions in advance. However, through your attendee portal, you will be able to create your own schedule and add sessions to your calendar.

Question:
How do I join a session virtually?
Answer:
Helpful tips to successfully join and engage in a virtual session will be sent to all attendees closer to the conference date.

Question:
What are the benefits of becoming a member of ACO, ADDA, or CHADD?
Answer:
